With advantages such as high contrast ratio and deep dark field performance, VA (Vertical Alignment) screens have become one of the mainstream choices in the display and television markets. However, the "blind screen" label left by early technical flaws still causes some users to be concerned. In fact, with the upgrade of technologies like DC dimming and response acceleration, today's VA screens have achieved a balance between eye protection and picture quality. And the correct usage method is the key to maximizing their performance. 1. Be vigilant of the soft screen characteristics and take proper physical protection measures.

4. Scientifically calibrate parameters to maintain display accuracy
Although the VA screen has excellent color performance, the color accuracy will decline over time due to aging. Professional calibration suggests that ordinary users should calibrate the display every 3-6 months, while professional users such as designers and video editors should shorten the interval to 1-2 months. Before calibration, the monitor needs to be preheated for 30 minutes, and automatic functions such as dynamic contrast and energy-saving mode should be turned off. The color temperature should be uniformly adjusted to 6500K standard daylight white. V. Adapt to applicable scenarios and avoid technical limitations
The characteristics of VA screens determine the boundaries of their applicable scenarios. With a contrast ratio of over 3000:1, it offers advantages in high brightness, making it suitable for static or slow-moving scenarios such as text editing and movie viewing. The dark areas have 15%-20% more gradations than IPS screens. However, in games with extremely high requirements for response speed like FPS, even with optimized settings, there may still be slight ghosting, which significantly affects the accuracy of operations. Additionally, when viewed from the side, curved VA screens may become uniformly white or show color deviations after an angle of over 178 degrees. When multiple people share the screen, the viewing position needs to be adjusted. For 27-inch models, a curvature of 1500R is preferred, while for screens larger than 32 inches, a curvature of 1800R can reduce edge deviations.
Six. Standardize idle storage and extend service life
The average lifespan of a VA screen can reach 60,000 hours. However, improper operation can significantly shorten its lifespan. When the device is left idle for a long time, the power plug should be unplugged to prevent the standby power consumption from accelerating the aging of components. At the same time, a dust cover should be used to cover the screen to prevent dust from settling. During transportation, both sides of the body should be held with both hands, and the frame or stand should not be grasped. For curved screens, special care should be taken to avoid squeezing the edges.
