tin tức mới nhất của công ty về The development history of LCD screens and the global advancement journey of BIBUKE company

Since its inception, the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) has undergone a long and glorious development process, evolving from an initial laboratory achievement to the ubiquitous display technology of today, profoundly changing people's lifestyles and working methods.

Meanwhile, BIBUKE Company has been constantly striving in this development trend, growing together with LCD technology, and promoting high-quality displays to the global market.

The origin of LCD can be traced back to the 19th century. In 1888, Austrian botanist F. Reinitcer observed special phenomena during the heating and melting process of cholesteric alcohol, and then German physicist O. Lehmann further confirmed the existence of this fluid crystal - liquid crystal under the polarizing microscope. However, liquid crystal research was once dormant until the mid-20th century when it regained attention. In 1968, Dr. G. Heilmeier from RCA in the United States discovered the dynamic scattering of liquid crystals, marking the beginning of the LCD display era. However, this technology was not commercially realized due to its high power consumption. In 1971, M. Schadt and W. Helfrich invented the twisted nematic mode (TN-LCD), laying the foundation for the industrialization of LCD displays. In 1972, Japanese scientist S. Kobayashi produced a defect-free LCD screen, and Sharp and Epson quickly industrialized it, widely used in calculators, electronic watches, and other devices, ushering in the industrialization era of large-scale production of LCD displays.

From the late 1980s to the early 1990s, LCD technology achieved significant breakthroughs. Japan mastered the production technologies of STN-LCD and TFT-LCD. The emergence of STN made LCDs present colors for the first time, while TFT-LCD, with its superior display performance, became a strong competitor to the mainstream display technology. During this period, LCD began to emerge in the notebook computer field, although the initial colors were monochrome and the brightness was low, but with technological progress, it gradually improved. Japan, with its leading position in the LCD display industry, almost monopolized the entire industry chain.

However, the industry landscape subsequently changed. In the early 1990s, South Korea entered the LCD display industry, through continuous investment and technological innovation, Samsung and LG, etc., gradually rose. In 1998 and 1999, Samsung and LG surpassed Japan's Sharp and became the top two suppliers in the global LCD display market. In 1997, Japan exported advanced production lines to six Taiwanese companies, helping Taiwan enter the forefront of the LCD display industry. Around 2005, China's mainland followed suit, and the competition pattern of the four major production bases gradually formed. Since then, China's mainland has invested heavily in the LCD industry, built many large-size generations, and in 2021, LCD screen production exceeded global shipments by 60%, ranking first in the world.

During the development process of LCD technology, BIBUKE Company has always kept pace. BIBUKE Company was established in 2002, after accumulating a solid technical foundation and industry experience, it began to focus on the digital signage product field in 2016, concentrating on independent research, production, and assembly. The company has gathered a professional and outstanding sales team as well as an experienced and highly qualified engineer team, equipped with multiple sets of advanced production and testing equipment. Its production line covers small and medium-sized LCD, TFT and IPS modules, which are widely used in various industrial and consumer fields, and has become one of the leading suppliers of character LCD modules, graphic LCD modules, and TFT & IPS modules. With profound engineering and technical knowledge, BIBUKE produces high-quality LCD modules. The company has also obtained certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS - 16949 2009, as well as RoHS and REACH standards, achieving international standards in product quality and environmental protection.

BIBUKE's backlight factory, leveraging over 20 years of technical accumulation, focuses on the research and development of planar light sources, designing more than 1,000 different structures and colors of backlights, playing an important role in the global LED backlight field. The company is committed to corporate culture building and employee training, aiming to provide stable and reliable single-color and TFT COG LCD modules for global consumers. The product types are diverse, including customized and standard single-color character LCD modules, COB and COG graphic LCD modules with various colors (such as yellow/green, white, blue) and different backlight and LCD type combinations; standard touch screen LCD displays suitable for various TFT and IPS LCD displays, supporting resistive and capacitive touch screens, and allowing for customized touch screens and LCD displays with optical bonding; high-brightness TFT displays with brightness up to 800 cd/㎡ to 1000 cd/㎡ and good display performance in sunlight (outdoor LCD displays); and standard small TFT LCD display options (supporting resistive and capacitive touch screens) for mobile phones, LED displays, digital and industrial products, etc.

Today, BIBUKE's products, with their outstanding performance and quality, are sold worldwide, widely applied in various fields, working hand in hand with global customers, promoting the in-depth application and development of LCD display technology in various industries, and bringing people a clearer and more convenient visual experience. With the continuous innovation and expansion of LCD technology in the future, BIBUKE is expected to continue to play an important role and write a new glorious chapter.
